Who can enroll in your PMU training program?
Our PMU training program is open to aspiring artists of all experience levels — whether you’re brand new to the field or a beauty professional looking to expand your expertise. No prior experience in permanent makeup is required. We welcome students who are passionate about beauty and ready to build a thriving career in the PMU industry.
What techniques are taught during the training?
Our comprehensive program covers the most in-demand brow techniques in today’s PMU industry, including:
- Feather Nano Brows – Hairstrokes created by machine
- Ombré Powder Brows – Soft, shaded brows for a powder-makeup look
- NanoShading Combo – A hybrid technique combining hairstrokes and shading
You’ll learn both the artistry and technical precision behind creating natural, balanced brows customized for every client.
Will I receive a certification after completing the training?
Yes. Upon completing the 3-day live portion of the course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Attendance from Sway Academy.
After finishing the online portion and successfully completing a full brow treatment on a model, you’ll receive your Certificate of Completion, demonstrating your professional training in PMU techniques — a key credential as you launch and market your business.
Is live model practice included in the course?
Absolutely. Hands-on experience is essential to becoming a confident artist. During the training, you’ll work on a live model under expert supervision, practicing both hairstroke and shading techniques in a safe, supportive environment that mirrors real client work.
Do you offer ongoing support after the training?
Yes — your journey with Sway Academy continues well beyond the classroom. You’ll receive 6 months of ongoing mentorship and support during the online portion of your training, including:
- Continued one-on-one guidance from your instructor
- Access to a private WhatsApp group for Q&A and community support
- The opportunity to audit and re-attend the same course offered within your 6-month access period
If additional time is needed to complete your course, extensions are available for purchase.
